Sony Xperia Z2 was the first Mobile Phone equipped with an active noise cancellation feature. It is followed by Z3, Z4, Z5, XZ, XZ1. GSMARENA is wrong in specifying a lot of phones as having a dedicated noise cancellation feature.
Z2 is also supplied with the default Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) Earphone, the MDR-NC31E, using a 3.5mm jack with 5 poles.
It comes with stereo microphones which are vital for the ANC, but unlike standalone ANC earphones, these Xperia phones need to use the phone to process the ANC, so must access the microphones.
As it turned out, it also uses these microphones for recording so they behave as binaural recording if put to our ears, while behaving as monitor earphones at the same time.
Starting from XZ2, Xperia phones no longer come with 3.5mm jack so this earphone cannot be used anymore.
Not sure how to get binaural recording from ANC earphones. I have confirmed that Xiaomi USB-C ANC earphones cannot record in stereo, only mono, so cannot be used for binaural recording.
The second cheapest is to use the Roland CS-10EM Binaural Microphone / Earphones (US$100)
